Managing your data

You may have produced the most exciting and visually creative mail piece, but if it fails to reach its target or if first impressions are bad, the investment in your carefully prepared message will be wasted.

We work hard to ensure our clients' mailing campaigns are as targeted as possible.  Poor quality address data can adversely affect response rates and also increase your postage costs.

To combat this and to ensure that you are receiving the best value for money, we offer a full range of data processing services, designed to maximise the effectiveness of your marketing programme and ensure you are getting the most out of your budget and a great quality of service.

Returns Processing

Any returns that you may receive can be delivered back to us.

This enables us to keep your customer database up-to-date; ensuring one of your most valuable assets is kept in tip-top condition.

Alternatively, any returned mail can be delivered back to your premises.

File De-Duplication

Duplicate entries can often creep into mailing lists over time and can prove costly and timely if left unmanaged.

By conducting a regular de-duplication of your lists, you can keep your costs and reputation in check and ensure that you are getting the most out of your money.

MPS Screening

People who have actively opted out of receiving direct mail are listed on the MPS (Mail Preference Service).

Regular checks to ensure that the contacts on your list aren't listed against the MPS will ensure that you are sending the correct people.

Delivering or sending to any of the contacts which are listed on the MPS can result in a fine – therefore it is better to be safe than sorry, ensuring that your pocket and reputation have not taken a hit.

Gone Away & Mortality Suppression

Mailing lists tend to degrade over time due to people moving home, getting married or changing jobs – changes are happening all the time, therefore it is important to keep up-to-date with your list to ensure that no offense or upset is caused to your customers.

Maintenance ensures that 'gone-away's' are updated and any deceased records present are removed, ensuring that your database remains up to date and avoids any embarrassment or confusion to you and your customers.
